Step into the mesmerising world of the breathtaking “Kas Plateau,” often referred to as “Kas Pathar.” Located in the breathtaking Western Ghats, in the Satara district of Maharashtra, India. Perched on a mountain within the Sahyadri mountain range, the Kas Plateau has gained global recognition as a “World Natural Heritage Site” 

Since the Kas Pathar became popular, the number of tourists has been increasing yearly. However, this enchanting season lasts only for a brief period of 30 to 45 days. Formerly known as Prati Mahabaleshwar, there are many fascinating sights to see on this plateau. Exciting jungle safaris, jeep expeditions, and guided tours in the neighbouring areas along the Kas Plateau have been jointly launched by the Executive Forest Management Committee and the Forest Department. This allows tourists to immerse themselves in the region’s rich biodiversity throughout the year. These special experiences cater to the growing enthusiasm of tourists.
